Is that the Aerofax book?

There is not. This is a "А и В" (Cyrillic) "Aviation & Time" - Ukrainian Aviation Magazine, issue 3`2013, monograph "Vigilante" (Twink which leaved behind the time).

So, what the next? After glue cure time I have to check of each one lines wing to body and empennage connections for correctly installation and gap smoothing till flush.

Beautiful work, and those forward flaps (Is that the term?) are very clean and look great.

:thanks: FWD wing spar control surfaces (flight control devices) are: Leading edge slats (L.E.Slats), AFT wing spar = T.E. Flaps, yes, it`s OK.

Thanks. I thought it would be slats also, but I was unsure. Now I know for sure.... :)

Looks really great.

There are flaps completely done, but temporarily does not installed in place and there is also a good access to the wing to body area is provided.

Actually those are leading edge flaps, slats are separated control surfaces which deploy forward (there's an air path between the slat and the wing), slots are fixed slats. All three are used in different places, and some designs use more than one (the slatted Phantoms for example have slots on the outer wing).

Leading edge flaps merely change the camber of the wing's airfoil, while slats & slots have a number of effects with regards to boundary layer airflow.

Thank You for the high detailed flight control description. And also the major external change was the substitution of slats for the leading edge flaps on the outboard inner wing and the outboard wing panel. These resulted in increased maneuverability due to notably higher angle of attack capability. The maneuver-slat modification included a small fence just outboard of the wing fold area. The slat on the folding portion of the wing provided a permanent slot – it didn’t extend further but simply pivoted to increase the size of the slot. The inboard slat extended, moving forward via a parallelogram linkage.

And now, auxiliary drop tanks 400 US gal are ready for polishing of lines and grinding procedure.

Save yourself some time and do not fit the drop tanks, they were rarely used.
