Corsair Combo, two for the price of one.

Recommended Posts

Hello,

Here are my two 1/72 Fujimi A-7E Corsair II's that I just finished. The US Navy one was done in VA-146 markings during the 1971-72 cruise on the USS Constellation. Decals from Wolfpak, Rockeyes from Eduard, painted with Modelmaster and Tamiya. The Greek one was inspired by one of the Corsairs that participated in that big live firing demonstration that was all over the internet a couple years ago. M117's are from Eduard, decals from Icarus, painted with Gunze paints.

Both absolute beauties, in an ugly sort of way!! Great builds, and lovely paintwork on them :)

Very nice Corsairs Pete. Love them both. Lucky man with two Fujimi Corsairs. Hard to get without paying over the odds for them. I wish Fujimi would reissue them plus the phantom's and Skyhawks etc.

Cheers Allan

I've had a 1/48 twin seater in the stash for years must build the thing!

Yes. Yes you should! They're even cooler than the single seaters

Well, they were my last two. And nice as they are, a more up to date tooling would be welcome. (Hobbyboss doesn't count, imo)
