However, the problem with converting the P-51D into a B is that the wing root kink of the D, is totally wrong for the B. Macki Yes, that's exactly what I meant and well done for sorting that out. That makes it much clearer, it's hard to tell on the built pics as it's not next to the D model. I didn't bother correcting it on my Hasegawa kits, I just built them and didn't get anymore. I bought Academy and KP ones which look much more correct. There's no way I would even attempt major surgery like that, as I lack the skills and it takes all the fun out of making a model for me but you've done an excellent job sorting it out on the B! thanks Mike 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That looks more complicated than it is Mike, you just need some Evergreen or Plastruct, some putty, sanding paper and a little patience.
