Good evening

 My second entry for this Gb is another Tamiya Mosquito that I will represent in the markings of Black Rufe the aircraft flown by Squadron leader Robert Alan Kipp a 10 victories ace with the Squadron 418

 I will use the Hasegawa decals , the Eduard set and Yahu models IOnstrument panel

As usual I started by the cockpit interior

 I placed the PE seat belts and radio boxes

I will follow this build with interest too Patrice :).

 

I'm a very big fan of the Mosquito. I plan to do one in the Matchbox GB later this year. I have the Tamiya kit too; it is much more detailed and Im interested to see how the wing and spar assembly goes together. They have a very detailed undercarriage too; it puzzles me a little so watching your build will be a big help :thumbsup2: .

 

Nice choice of subject, the profile looks old and interesting.

Hi Tony

I agree the Mosquito is a very nice aircraft , I also have the Hasegawa Mosquito in my stash but I prefer the Tamiya one much more detailed ..I have found the profile on Wings palette ..

I hope I won't disapoint you with the rest of this build..

Good evening

Today I placed the instrument panel seat assembly in the fuselage and closed the 2 fuselages halves

 Thank you since this last picture I started painting the underside of the wings in light grey I will try to post pictures latter tough it is not very impressive so far ..

As I was not satisfied with the paint yestarday I painted another coat of MSG and Dark Green  ..

I spent some times painting the canopy and I am rather pleased with the results ..

Very smart Patrice. Could I ask; what brand of paint did you use for the MSG and dark green?

I like the shades of colour and the finish :thumbsup2:

Thank you for your comment , I used Humbrol HU64 for Msg and Humbrol HU 116 for Dark Green ..
