Good recovery!

However is the angle of the seat wrong?

Doesnt like ok like much room to climb in between it and the front windshield...

The pic on the mat with the scalpel in front of it - perhaps cause its a front 3/4-ish rather than full side-on?

tony

Thanks You might be right there. I've just looked at some pics and the seat looks slanted. Not how the kit was asked to go together at all. I'm buggered if I'm popping it out now. I can live with it.

Very nice indeed Johnny :). This model brings home to me just how amazing the Typhoon looks. They remind me of futuristic Gerry Anderson designs.  I like them so much now that I've joined a Flickr group on them.

I'd get one for the stash but:

The canopy

Those stencils

The stash is too big

I could never do it justice like you have.

Suoerb dawn photo, looking forward to the RFI.

Best regards

Thanks Tony. The RFI is up and yes she is like a thunderbird. B)

That is super cool Tony, I think I'll let the collective memory of this beauty fade a little before attempting to finish my own.

Do it. You know you want to. Just be careful with that canopy.

Hi guys.

RFI is up.

Thankyou all so much for helping me along the way with this one. I'm super happy with the outcome. I do wish that I hadn't cocked up the canopy right at the end but you live and learn.

take care and I hope you all had a lovely weekend. I have a new build up and running if you fancy some More madness ( mainly on a Tuesday and early on a Weekend )

Take care and Happy Modelling.

Johnny over and out:pilot:

Cracking build John. Been catching up surreptitiously when I've been up to it. Well done with the canopy. That's one of the things I haven't got round to trying.

One Typhoon loaded for bear

Thanks Phil.:giles:

Nice one Johnny. I learnt a lot from this thread so I'm going to sneak into the new WiP, even though it's 'not my scale'.

Don't tell anyone.

Cheers,
