Hi Folks.

Usual story about building Airfix kits as a youngster and always wanted to return to the hobby but never had the time, so my daughter pushed me a bit and for Christmas bought me a 1/24 Spitfire as a pressie.

Now I felt this was a bit daunting after all those years away from the hobby so I decided to buy the Focke Wulf 1/72 starter kit just to try and get some practice in, finished that then started a ME 109E from the 1/48 Dogfight Doubles set, It came out not too bad but a lot's changed since I last built models such as weathering the subject.

 

Now on to my 3rd build which is the Spitfire from the doubles set again a 1/48 scale, done most of the work with just props, wheels, and canopy to add but I'm currently in the process of trying to weather it at the moment so wish me luck.

 

Now also trying to add my pic to my Avatar.
