That is a delightful diorama! I'm always amazed at how armour modellers vet grass that realistic!!

P.S. It should be "live fire".

Great dios. They look very summery with that lighting. I'm guessing they are 1/48 or 1/72 scale? Sorry if they aren't!

Thank you Badder,

it's supposed to be a sunny November day ;) this is only one diorama, about 12" x 20", scale is 1/87.

what a superb diorama - that foliage looks beautifully convincing. Very nicely modelled and made even better with a carefully integrated background - stunning

Hi Gimme Shelter,

happy you like it! The trees are homemade, little twigs, seafoam and special autumn foliage :)

Cheers

I like the photography - the low camera angle really puts you in the scene.

These are very old resin kits from Trident with lots of additions and detailing

If it was a British exercise, someone would have a brew on.

And it would be raining.

Lovely build.

Very nicely done sir....You have taken those kits to an entirely new level.

Are those ROCO .50cals?  The peculiar way the mould the barrel was one of the things that made me ask.  :hmmm:

Thank you John and Squarehead!

As far as i know are the old Roco Brownings  more 1/72 than 1/87.

The .50cals are from ArsenalM

They used to have resin ones, which were much cheaper, a few years ago, but not anymore :poop:

Cheers
