Paul J
Some more Hurn pics but from '84. XS577 that became G-VIXN Ex Danish Air Force TF-100F. JP in primer. A couple years later it was all painted up and flying with two red Hunters. Not sure if this ever flew much. And this one. One of a couple that were planned to join the show circuit. I think this one was registered G-SEAH. Would like to know what became of this one and the one behind XE*** Dornier Do28D in the early scheme. (I think nicer). This became G-HUEY later. ex Argentine war booty. And its later sibling the UH-1N or H ????? AEW Shackleton 'growling around the skies overhead. Compared to the late dark grey schem, this Alize looks rather smart. And its French companion, a Super Frelon. Raspberry Ripple types became very popular air show attendees back then. OV-1 Mohawk. Meteor NF 11. WM167. Not seen this one around in a long time. And nowadays even less likely. Finally, a lousy photo but its a Phantom E model doing its stuff. I have got more flying shots but they are quite poor and really just silhouettes as most of the shooting was done in to sun due to the placement of the crowdlin north of the runway. Enjoy.

Paul Bradley
The Seahawks were part of the Hunter One collection. WM994 is, apparently, somewhere in the US, incognito. XE364 (really XE489) is currently at the Gatwick Aviation Museum, painted in Suez Campaign markings, as she was back then:
old thumper
This brings back some old memories, I can still see the Seahawk starting up with a bang and the smoke from it's cartridges. I must dig out my old photos and program now. Edited February 1, 2017 by old thumper
Martian
Thanks for the pictures Paul, especially the Sea Vixen D3 which will be the subject of a future Martian build. It was however, XP924 that became G-VIXN. I believe the cockpit section of XS577 survives somewhere in Switzerland, following it's service as a drone at Llanbedr alongside XP924. Martian Hi Martin, Cheers for comments and correction. I somehow did wonder if I was right or wrong about that one. Not sure which ones to do next. Prob the remaining Hurn ones.
