Ragtag
Hi all, hoping someone can help me out with some shots of the cabin from one of HM Coastguard's Sikorsky S-61N whirlygigs? I've managed to source a few detail shots but could use a few more views. Thanks in advance Stu
Skodadriver
I don't know anything about helicopters but have you looked at the Rotary Wing Aircraft Walkarounds section? There are some pictures of an Irish S61 which might be of help. Dave G
Ragtag
Thanks Dave - I did but not sure if the interior fit was different. I don't tend to do civvie birds so my references are a bit thin at the mo!
Jamie @ Sovereign Hobbies
Whirlybird have a Bristows HMCG S-61N in their reference photos for the conversion kit. I was in one of Bristow's CG S-61Ns with a camera and took zero photos of the interior, sadly

Lawzer
I used to work for Bristows (up till 2001). What info are you after as I think I *might* have some interior shots of an SAR S61 while it was in Aberdeen for heavy maintenance?
Ragtag
Hi Lawzer, anything that shows the equipment fitted would be really helpful - other than jyguy's shots above I haven't found much to go on Cheers, Stu
Lawzer
I had a good hunt in the "cupboard for everything that has no other place to go" but alas no joy. BTW the photos are from G-BDOC. You could possibly try searching on the aircraft reg's to see if there are photos? From memory: G-BIMU (primarily Stornoway) G-BDIJ (Sumburgh) G-BDOC (Sumburgh) For the life of me I can't recall any others (old-ish age doesn't come itself!). There's some very interesting tales involving these aircraft. I remember BIMU clipping a few inches off all 5 mrb's when they came into contact with a rock face during a rescue and was ferried back to ABZ under an army Chinook but the horizontal stab had been removed and it started spinning so it had to be flown at about 20mph all the way back!
