I've recently completed this, same kit grasshopper - so we'll see the changes in appearance that going operational brought. Matchbox GR3 - No 4 Squadron RAF Gutersloh - visited these on ATC camp in 1978. Previous Airfix GR3 as No 1 Squadron, RAF Wittering. Same model the next day, prepared for Arctic operations in Norway. theplasticsurgeon Posted February 12, 2017 Author Share Posted February 12, 2017 One minor flaw with this kit - it provides parts for aux-air intakes closed - for high speed flight, it provides parts for aux-air intakes upper open, lower closed - for parked, non engine running, as used on my previous build, but it doesn't provide parts for aux-air intakes fully open, for ground running and hover.
