Dave_R Posted March 12, 2017 Author Share Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Hi all, I spent yesterday mummifying the poor thing in masking tape.... tapetastic..... ...and this morning airbrushing it with no noticeable effect..... ....well, almost no visible effect. Actually it's better than it looks in the photos. I wanted subtle and that's what I got ! I'm doing a bit of a base for it as well. Dave. Dave_R Posted March 19, 2017 Author Share Posted March 19, 2017 Hi all, Here's the weekends progress:- I used the foil from a chocky bar stuck on with Micro Foil for those shiny bits on a Lightning, and I added the wheels, Firestreaks and the refuelling probe. I hate putting on the stencils, it's so boring I can only stand to do five or six at time - so it could be a while before the next update. It doesn't look that much different but it now has approx. 80-90 more decals on it- which can't be seen and pitot tube. ... a bit of light weathering and it's done.
