Britman
To the best of my memory these were captured at Manston at the end of the eighties. I am sure it was 1988 but could have been 89. The CC109 Cosmopolitan was earlier in the decade but happened to be in the pile! Hope you find something of interest. CC109 Cosmopolitan E3A Sentry Sea Harrier Harrier Wessex / Spitfire Victor B17 Sally B Puma Concorde F16 Swordfish Phantom Sea King Hornet Jaguar I hope this turns out alright !

Simon382
Brings back some very pleasent memories. I was working there on the very last RAF airshow, think it was 92. My most endearing memory of the day was being blown clear off my feet, along with two others, by an F16 running up its engine as we walked too close!?! Fun times, did warm us up a bit though lol
jenko
Great shots. I remember those shows well. One of the few times where you could get up really close and personal. Got any more ?? Dick

Gary West
I stand to be corrected but if its out of 88 & 89 Id go 89 - I was there in 88 (the year of massive delays getting in) and it was beautiful sun all day long. Quite a few clouds and a bit grey are those pics
Smudge
Love the Cosmopolitan, very shiny. Remember seeing them at Gatwick a couple of times. Must get that Mach2 kit.
Darth Vader
These were the days when airshows were worth going to , not the lame rubbish we get now. What I wouldn't give to go back and see a British tomb tearing up the sky. Thanks for sharing
