Paul J
Just been finishing one of my many boxes of slides scanned on to pc. To take a little break from the civvy ones I thought you may like to see some from Middel Wallop. Only a few to start , then I will add more to this thread as I work on them. But to start with a few of the Swedish Vertols that attended in 86 and 88. Thes e may inspire those intending to join the Vertol CH-46 GB. Cheers.
Paul J
Some more selected from one batch: XV103 A big aeroplane on a grass airfield. I was amazed at the time that such a big thing would land on grass! P7350 as SH-D ( Or was it AB910?). Not a very good shot but included here for interest in as much as the two tone sky underside. Clearly a repaint repair. LS326. Another marking mix up .Early roundels and D-Day stripes. Obviously applied for an anniversary. And now some Helicopters: Part of the Swedish contingent. Thats all for tonight.

mackem01
Some great pics there, and an observation. Why is it that our Belgian friends always seemed to send Seaking RS-04 to UK airshows??
RidgeRunner
Ah, does anyone else remember the Russian Mil-1s in 1973? As I remember there were three Austrian Alouette 3s too Martin

Paul J
Thanks for comments Keep 'em coming as I will have more Wallop pics ready soon. Re The Belgian Sea King, I always thought it was a strange choice of colours for the camo scheme. At the time I thought that they would look smart in the same colours as the S-58 Choctaw.
