albymoore
Hi All, Here is my take on the Revell AT-ACT from Rogue One. It was repainted with Model Master Neutral Gray and Vallejo Orange Rust, then weathered using pastels and a panel wash (as well Tamiya pigment powders). The center section between the front legs is a 3D milled piece (from a member of the Facebook Starship Modeler page). Thanks for looking! Cheers, Albert
Romeo Alpha Yankee
Nice job Albert How different is the replacement milled piece to the kit part you replaced?
albymoore
Hi Ray, Thanks for the kudos! That center section is actually blank OOB. The 3D milled section is a drop fit add-on and ready to use right from the package. I only roughed up the gluing surface so the epoxy would have something to latch onto-
Romeo Alpha Yankee
Thanks Albert, looks like I will need to look out for the kit and the centre section.
Gimme Shelter
yeah baby yeah .... Well this is the first time I have seen this new kit moulding assembled and I must say I am very impressed - great work - one of the highlights of Rogue One and nice to see scaled down nicely photographed too - the Force is strong with your modelling ....
