oldmodeler
Hello everybody! I have been making model planes sine about 1956, or so, when I glued together an AIRFIX RE8, I think I used most of a tube of glue to start it, and my cousin finished it. Currently making larger models, as thermal scale little itty bits tent to ping off the tweezers, never to be seen again. I am impressed with the standard here, and regard it as a challenge and a way to go. No that I have an airbrush, and learnt how to use it from AIRFIX magazine, my model work looks a lot better. I have a number of Sic-Fi Figures, early ALIENS , Metaluna Mosnter , Predator and so on. LINKS below. I have a great interest in Science-fiction models. , 1/35 tanks, aeroplanes, etc. Recently made the MPC Space 1999 Eagle, and it was great fun to make and paint. I did it with photography in mind: neatness and low-reflectivity, plus accurate detail. I rencently made the MENG Char3C tank, which was an extraordinary subject, so few people would know about it, the model was simple to make, I dirtied it up to look well used, using oils and chalks.
