Rabbit Leader
All, I've recently taken quite a shine to the Gunze range of lacquer Mr. Color paints, especially when thinned with their range of levelling thinner. I have acquired a wide range of RAF type colours however does anyone know if this range has good (out of pot) equivalents for the FAA type Dark Sea Greys and Slate Grays? The various colour matching cross reference guides I've seen do not seem to come up with anything - which is a bit odd. Anyone else had better luck. Cheers and thanks.. tank152
Hi Dave, you showed interest in MrP on Saturday so take a look at these. The great thing about these paints is that they are compatible with Mr Colour. http://www.hmhobbies.co.uk/aircraft.html Tim.
Rabbit Leader
Thanks for the tip once again Tim. Now I just need to find a stockist in Australia as shipping paints from overseas can be both expensive and in most case s prohibited. They seem to have the colours I require, so as long as they are generally accurate - I'll have to try and source a few. Kind regards.. Dave. Edit - just found one and better still, I've been ordering from these guys for years!! http://www.bnamodelworld.com/mr-paint?alpha_filter_id=0&extra_filter_id=0&filter_id=956&scales_filter_id=0 BNA Modelworld - one of the finest model hobby supplies down under.
