shood23
This is my build of Aoshimas GT86 rocketbunny tuned car and also my first completion of the new year. The kit was actually pretty good with only a few tricky areas mainly due to me though trying to fit a Ferrari v12 in a space made for a 4 cylinder. My main issue with the kit is the weak bonnet hinges as the area where they join with the bonnet is so small and thin breaks are going to happen if your not careful, so basically other than myself and the bonnet the kit is great. Paints and materials used have been: Halford grey primer zero paints subaru wrc blue zero paints metallic black zero paints premixed clear zero paints pure carnauba wax various alclad colours. tamita pot paints for the interior colours fujimi bbs lm 18 inch wheels and tyres (some modifications to kits parts were required) Tamiya Ferrari Enzo v12 engine. The build thread is here, build thread So enough of the boring parts here's tell car (it's very picture heavy) Some with all its bits on And finally some "beauty shots" Oh and the engine Thanks to those who followed the build and those of you who look at this More builds to come soon Shaun
keefr22
Strewth, bet that would be a handful - especially in the wet!! Cracking build. really lovely finish, & that engiine looks like it was meant to be there! Great stuff! Keith
Alpha Delta 210
Stunning result. It really could pass for the real thing with a different background!
Schwarz-Brot
I'd love to get a round on track with this beast. Hell yeah! The colour is stunning and I am glad you decided against the carbon roof.
Borez
Lovely build Shaun , aside from the fact that actually driving that thing would be utterly mental. Very surprised that these things do actually exist in the wild too.
Spad
Very neat! Lovely slick build and super finish. As Keefr22 says, that V.12 just looks like it has always been there - great installation job. ATB Rick
