cocky05d
Some photos of the aircraft models i finished last year, some of them i started in 2013. Airfix 1/72 Zero . I could not figure out how to do the wary line between the paint schemes ,so i used aftermarket decals and another paint scheme . Italeri 1/72 HS129 ,started out as a aircraft on the Russian front ,kept messing up the paint ,touching up where the masking tape pulled the paint off . Not really happy with the result ,got another one in the stash . Italeri 1/72 Macchi 205 Italeri 1/72 Macchi 202. Love these aircraft ,got 2 Hasegawa in 1/48 plus the Tauro one also a 21 Century toys in 1/32 ,can't have enough Mc 202/205s . Icm 1/48 Spitfire mk9, Another one i was working on and off for a few years ,Decals from the big yellow giant's own brand and Eduard . I think the yellow wing stripes are a bit wide . Managed to knock the radio mast off . Airfix F5 Painted with air brush and hairy stick. Airfix Hurricane mk2c Got a few Revell Hurricanes so i can use the Airfix decals . Italeri 1/72 Reggiane R200 Airfix Fairly Fumar. Airfix Scooter (For the life of me can't remember what the proper name is ) First time using my portable photo booth ,is it normal for the lights to smell after they have been on for a while? Hope you liked them ,pain and a half using Photobucket ,i have some photos of the 1.35 Afvs i finished last year ,going to leave it for a while until i post them . Thanks for looking.
Spitfire31
Some very nice models there! I do like how you've painted cockpit framings so neatly. That contributes a lot to the overall impression. I also note that you don't seem to bother painting exhaust stacks in a contrasting 'burnt metal' or similar colour Your Italian ships, the Spit, Hurricane and the Fulmar all tend to look a little bit toy like, with the camouflage paint covering the exhausts, IMHO. Kind regards, Joachim
cocky05d
Hi ,bugger forgot about them ,thanks for pointing that out ,i had finished the Spit and Hurricane then i noticed i had not do the yellow wing stripes . Do you think they look a bit too wide?. Just remembered ,it is a Skyhawk ,the cockpit framing were masked by a number of things ,blue tac metal foil ,silly putty and masking tape. Thanks for the feedback .

Hi ,i finished them last year ,some have been on the go since 2013 . I think it doesn't matter how long i take to make them ,they will end up in my shed gathering dust .
