vrsmatt99
Hi everyone, Happy new year and all that! Ive managed to complete my first build of 2017. This is Revell's 1:25 scale Ford F100 Street Rod Pick Up. The kit is a great little kit and went together without a problem. It is pretty much out of the box apart from a lowering job! The kit is well known for being very high at the back and the rear wheels stick out beyond the arches (Not a good look!) So after following some previous hints found on the web, it sits a lot better! The kit is painted throughout with Zero Paints, the main colour actually being the Leyton House Blue with 2K Clear. All in all a really enjoyable build! Here are the results: As always, all comments welcome! Thanks for looking Matt
m4rky
What a beautiful f100. The finish is lovely. Well done. Do you use an extractor/spray booth when spraying the zero paints?
vrsmatt99
Thanks m4rky! My workbench is in my garage and I have an old cupboard set up on the end of it that I use a spray booth. I can spray and then close the doors afterwards to keep any dust out. I also use a proper 3M respirator mask thing when I spray aswell especially with the 2K clear. Thud4444
Nice little Ford! Any thoughts on the white Ford for the tailgate? It looks a little odd to me with out it.
