docipaul
This is my 1/72 Huey from Italeri. Cockpit and fuselage was build straight forward, no scratch building. Hataka Helo Drab was used for the main fuselage colour. Decals are printed by myself with a laser printer Tried the kit's decals but it craked and won't stick to the model so I just sticked to my home printed decals. Thanks for looking. Crossofiron1971
Looks good! I am building one as a long term project in 1/24, it would send me nuts doing it that small!
Stephan
I always wanted to build a Huey an do have a 1/72 Revell kit in my stash but I don't like the shape of the nose and the shape of the front window so I never started the build. This one looks very much better. Maybe I can throw the 2 kits together and see what happens. What I would like to see most would be a new kit from SpecialHobby as a follow up for the excellent Cobra. Do you have to seal the decals after printing? The decals are looking pretty good too. Just came across this http://www.ghost-white-toner.com/?lang=en and thought about making my own ones too. Great work cheers Stephan

docipaul
Weathering done with powders and inks. No need to seal the decal, you can use it straight from the printer. Thanks for looking.

Martian
I don't usually go for these drab colour schemes but you have done a smashing job on this one! Martian
