This is my 1/72 Huey from Italeri. Cockpit and fuselage was build straight forward, no scratch building.

Hataka Helo Drab was used for the main fuselage colour.

Decals are printed by myself with a laser printer

Tried the kit's decals but it craked and won't stick to the model so I just sticked to my home printed decals.

Thanks for looking.

I always wanted to build a Huey an do have a 1/72 Revell kit in my stash but I don't like the shape of the nose and the shape of the front window so I never started the build.

This one looks very much better. Maybe I can throw the 2 kits together and see what happens.

What I would like to see most would be a new kit from SpecialHobby as a follow up for the excellent Cobra.

Do you have to seal the decals after printing? The decals are looking pretty good too.

Just came across this http://www.ghost-white-toner.com/?lang=en and thought about making my own ones too.

Great work

cheers Stephan
