Plumbum
Thanks! That site was very informative and interesting. It showed a lot of details I never knew about.---John
Plumbum
I have the top masked, now to flip and mask the bottom. Very time consuming.---John
Romeo Alpha Yankee
John, it looks to me you are double masking? Â I usually do the base colours and then mask for the corogard, leading edges, etc. It means I am only doing one are once. Â So with your wings, I would have painted the silver or grey base colour, sealed it and then masked for the corogard and leading edges and then painted those areas. Plumbum
Ray thanks for the advice.I do the main color last as my funky thoughts are I'd rather touch up the flaps or slats rather than try to touch up the main paint color with a rattle can. Primitive but it works, no airbrush here yet. I also have a fear of pulling the paint job off with the tape, been there done that.---John
Plumbum
The masks just came off. It's not perfect but I am very pleased with it. Tamiya silver leaf in the spray can has never let me down.---John

Plumbum
I added the jet exhaust to the rear fuselage and have the engines set in but not glued.I want to take them off to decal then I will glue them in permanent last. Now to mask and paint the nose black.---John
