Beard I think takes the prize for the most prolific builder for this GB, I think he may have really enjoyed this GB.

I did enjoy myself. Thank you to you and the other mods for organising the GB. I'm looking forward to Pacific at War II.

Thanks to our hosts for a brilliant GB.

The great thing about these GB's is that you build something that you normally wouldn't.

Never built an Aussie plane before, long overdue !

cheers Pat

Well she's all over now, the poll is closed and the results are very close in the two main categories!

SEA builds;

This was a hard group to chose form with with a large number of really nice models to chose from, but in the end it was a close with Modelling Minion's (Craig's) Buffalo just pipping Giorgio's Spitfire VIII, both really lovely models. Congratulations to you both for producing really amazing models.

RAAF & RNZAF builds;

Again another group with a large number of wonderful models to chose from, in the end it was a tie for first with Ettore's amazing Dauntless and trickyrich's (me :D) AiraCobra, closely followed by Pierpaolo's Corsair. It's good to see we avoided an international incident with both countries holding the top spot......thought it would have been nice to at least once beat that lot across the ditch!

Carriers at war builds;

GREG DESTEC was a clear winner with his lovely Nakajima Kate, and it was great to see an Axis aircraft come out on top in the GB as well.

To everyone that made it into the gallery, well done, it was a great showing with so many wonderful model present. You can all be very proud of the models you built, well done. :thumbsup:

That's it, again thank you to everyone who joined the fun or just popped in for a look see. I do hope to see quite a few of you again  :fight:............in the "Specialists GB"! :D

Congratulations to the winners ! There were a lot of great models, it wasn't easy to pick my preferred one in each group.

As runner-up in the SEA section I have to congratulate with Modeling Minion, his Buffalo was really not only a very nice model but also a very interesting subject. I admit that it was actually the one I voted for... 😁

I'm also glad to see that we "Italian patrol" did pretty well in this GB, with Ettore and Pierpaolo wonderful models deservedly doing very well in their section.

Maybe I should join them in the assault on Oz so we can all have a few schooners together... 😄

Congratulations to all the participants as well as to the winners

Thanks to the hosts for this very interesting GB (although at first I had misunderstood the terms)

A sincere thanks to those who wanted to put a preference on my model and those who helped me in the construction

PS.  I know Ettore very well and I know that he is well equipped with knives :hobbyhorse:

PS #2 Congratulations to @Beardfor his intense production

Thanks to everyone in the GB for all their efforts it was a blast.

It has been a very enjoyable project and I am only disappointed I didn't have time to get an entry in to the last category.

Finally a big thank you to all who voted for my Kate, you are all too kind.

All the best Greg 👍👍

Thanks Giorgio, very much appreciated. Seems we had the same thoughts about each others models as I voted for your Spitfire! It is a truly excellent model and I am astounded that my Buffalo got more votes than it did.

Well done to Greg as well for his excellent Kate, and to Ettore and Rich for their equally superb Dauntless and P-39 respectively, and as has already been said a huge well done to Beard for his mammoth effort of producing so many great models of interesting subjects.

This has been another excellent GB ran flawlessly by our esteemed host Rich and I look forward to taking part in more of his always fun GB's.

Craig.
