Supercar - Gerry Anderson

Recommended Posts

A little white metal kit of Supercar.

For those young 'uns here, it came before Thunderbirds, Stingray and even Fireball XL5.

As far as I know, it's the only kit of Supercar currently available.

I'm guessing it's around 1/43 scale at around 110mm long.

Very rough castings but hopefully will clean up and build quite nicely.

Roy.

What, no figure of Mike Mercury? This should be interesting,I will be watching this build

as I was a big fan of Fireball XL5 at 9 years old. Any models of XL5?---John

That's what I thought...spotted the openings for the wheels.

My plastic aerial didn't last the first day, got bent, then managed to break it doing an after flight servicing!. Must have been in  3rd year infants. a year later than Four Feathers.

Here is a youtube vid, loads on there. More than a hint of GM's late 50's Motorama shows, Chevrolets etc.

Roy.

My newly acquired Kitmaster XL5 is

under lock and key. Hands off, Sir!

I think I still have a Supercar annual though.
