Skyhunter66
Afternoon folks I an building the Italeri 1:48 Wessex HU5 as 771 Sqd Culdrose 1987 in the blue/grey and red. I am a little confussed as to what colour the upper and lower surfaces of the rotors should be (including the tail rotors) and if they should have the yellow and red stripes? Also what colour should the rotor head be? Any help appreciated thanks chris

Wafu
Early tail rotor blades are mid sea grey with red and white bands, leading edges dull Ally. Late blades are olive green, again with red and white bands.
Pete in Lincs
And a dark gloss grey for the Main and tail rotors and the main rotor gearbox. The yellow and red bands, BTW, show where to lift or trestle the blades for folding/servicing.
