Hi there, another one from the Christmas WIP now ready for its RFI.

Basically this is a weekend edition, no etch but superfabric belts, however using the markings from the limited edition dual combo kit no. 2113. Only addition was some e-z line for aerial.

Progress in this thread here:

In short this build used AK interactive products all over, from extreme metals for the NMF, and air series for some of the Russian shades. Detail colours came from the basics set.

Decals sealed with gauzy and then a satin final coat after the weathering which was Ak panel liners - the brown one. Also their 'scratches effect' fluid used for the wing walkways.

Enjoy!

I didn`t know that the Czech AF had downed a Sabre using a MiG 15,.......I`ve only heard of this incident;

10 March 1953 Two US Air Force F-84G Thunderjets of the 36 TFW, based in West Germany, crossed into Czechoslovakian airspace. They were intercepted by Czech MiG-15 Fagots and one F-84G was shot down by Jaroslav Sramek. The pilot ejected and survived.

Is this the incident in question? If so.....I`m gld that the F-84G pilot survived.

Cheers
