bootneck
Great photo's and thanks for sharing. It is interesting to note that the camouflage, which looks to be the same pattern, is actually different on each aircraft. This means that I would have to pick a particular airframe and get a full set of photo's for it if I wished to make a model of a camouflaged F-4. Thanks again. RidgeRunner
Absolutely correct, Mike. This applies to all SEA camo USAF machines and aircraft of many other forces, not just F-4s. For example, I am working on a Honduran Super Mystere at the moment and this is certainly true, as was the Sabre I did before hat. The RAF is quite unusual in that it generally has identical patterns. I guess it is about ease of painting and not spending un-necessary time on replication when they come to painting these aircraft. I'm glad you liked them. Martin Edited January 10, 2017 by RidgeRunner

RidgeRunner
Well, despite my pics I'd say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, mate. For me it is the F-104 followed very closely by a gaggle of others - F-105, F-84F, and others.... I'm glad you liked these and I made you smile Martin
canberraman
Superb shots Martin of the Rhino in the days before low vis grey took over everything. Thanks for taking the time to scan and share. Mark
Duncan B
Great photos, thanks for posting. With regards to RAF Phantoms, there were subtle differences in their DSG/DG patterns too, same applies to Hunters and I'm sure all the others that wore camo. It's possible to line up a row of airframes, and know who painted which one from the variation.
