SimonL
Here I present my attempt at the Special Hobby Bristol Beaufort. It was quite a challenging build, and its a bit rough in places but overall I am pretty happy with it. Brush painted with Tamiya and Italeri Acrylics. Finished as an aircraft from 217 Squadron RAF based at Luqa, Malta 1942. According to the markings information with the kit, this aircraft was shot down by a Ju 88 on June 20th 1942. Thanks to all those who followed the build and gave me support and advice. Build thread can be found here. Thanks for looking. There is a map and lamp in there! CedB
A good result on a tricky kit - you can be more than 'pretty happy' with that Simon - good job!
bristol boy
Good job, look at that map through your clear glazing! Not at all jealous. The Beaufort is one of those subjects where a good quality mainstream kit is long overdue. Hope my Beaufort IX eventually turns out as good as yours.
MikeR
Great job! Some Special Hobby/MPM kits can be a bit like curate's egg - look good once built, but you do go the wringer when building one! Mike.

Beard
That looks really smart, makes me want one (not that it'll turn out half as nice and I've been banned from buying any more kits for the next couple of months).
