Vultures1
This is the 1/72 Trumpeter J-10S, with the addition of DreamModel etched cockpit details and exhaust nozzle. I’m sure that it is humanly possible to make the DreamModel etched exhaust work ... but I couldn’t manage it! I just used the afterburner ring and put one part of the etched detail inside the kit nozzle for what I think is a pleasing effect; the cockpit set on the other hand worked fine. Markings are one of the kit decal options. The Trumpeter kit goes together easily and, although I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the form in every regard, I think it looks good.

Booty003
That is a great build - very nicely done. One thing I must say about the actual real aircraft though - it looks like Frankenstein's creation, almost like bits and pieces of other aircraft have been chopped off and stuck together!! Oliver d
Nice build it looks a lot like the Israeli Lavi prototype witch never went into production from the 1980 s.

Vultures1
Thanks for your kind comments, folks - much appreciated! And you are right, the J-10 does look like the love child of some unlikely tryst between an F-16, a Typhoon and a Gripen ... or the result of borrowing the plans of the Lavi prototype. "Vigorous Dragon" is a cool name though!
