Covjets13
Hi all, Well here's my first attempt at uploading to Britmodeller, so here goes... After a lay off from modelling for over a decade, in Arnies famous words..."I'm back"👍 I started this years ago, and so I thought I'd finish some dust covered boxes...so here's Italeri's Tornado. To be frank, it's nearly gone in the bin so many times, it is awful. I enjoyed doing the Airfix Buc more😜 It it has the fab NeOmega cockpit, Brassin GBU-10's and the Master pitot tube. It's painted in a mix of Aeromaster and Vallejo, and the decals are Printscale. http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0104_zps60gtfkqg.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0105_zps9reiqlak.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0116_zpseykzykrr.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0111_zpsnzucvfzn.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0109_zps3psjfjgs.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0113_zps5kppmhrv.jpg.html] http://s1253.photobucket.com/user/Covjets13/media/IMG_0107_zpsuee9kszm.jpg.html] Thanks for looking. mcdonnell
Hello,Si - Welcome back to the world of Fine Fettling and the Forum. What a superb comeback too! This 'Tornado' really looks the part and I love the quality and detail of the painting and finishing work. The fact she works hard for her living is well represented here and I think the intake covers look spot on. Great work on a great subject.😉👍 All the best,Paul.

WildeSau75
I always liked the Tornado in this livery - and you nailed it. Cheers, Michael
Orion
Hello Newbie, Job well done. Well used and heavily weathered. If I am right, the Buccaneer was, at this stage, still needed for guidance of the smart bombs to target. Regards, Orion / The Netherlands.

exdraken
great model! cockpit --> you even corrected the tank fins did not know Tornados could carry GBU-10s though! Edited January 8, 2017 by exdraken
cngaero
That's a very nicely done Tornado. It looks suitably dirty and well used.
Phone Phixer
Lovely build and a nice finish. I love the intake covers. Wrong LGB's though. Should be British 1,000lb Paveway II not GBU-10.
Covjets13
I know....but the photo I have, it was loaded with US stores, hence the US RBF tags. Si
