wimbledon99
Hi, I purchased this for my son last year as part of his DoE 'Skills'. However, he opted for a sport in the end so I thought I'd build it whilst waiting for my first 2017 GB to commence. Nice simple, stress-free build hopefully Here are the usual box and sprue pictures to get this underway
wimbledon99
Decided to make a start before the weekend finished. 'Office' now painted, grimed and dry brushed with a little aluminium Oh yeah, I also built the prop (in the background)

wimbledon99
Fuz halves together The two sections are quite a good fit but I have a feeling the wings will require some filling

wimbledon99
Looking like a Tomahawk now After some sanding and a little filler, she's not far off a primer coat (prop is dry fitted for effect)

PlaStix
Hi Nigel. Sorry - I managed to miss this on Saturday and I'm here to discover you are well underway. The cockpit looked great and it all looks to have gone together very well. Looking forward to seeing more. Kind regards, Stix

It's quite a nice little kit to work on
wimbledon99
Well, I did manage some paint at the weekend but an unexpected family visit meant it was limited to the smaller parts. One of these was the pilot who I've decided to included as I think he'll look OK once the canopy is on The side panels are also painted so the next step is the glass and mask in preparation for that primer!!

Beard
The Airfix Tomahawk is a nice little kit and there are some great schemes on a Hannants sheet, if you fancy making more of them.

Beard
It looks really smart. If you don't know already, the rear windows might not fit as well as they should.

wimbledon99
I've had a head cold since Friday so instead of heading out on my bike this morning, I cracked on with the build. Panel lines, light weathering and a coat of matt varnish now ticked off the list. Next pictures should be of completed model
