pinetree_fella
I am looking at buying one of these, I am teaching myself airbrushing and currently use a little Nail Artist compressor but it fades when I use the Tamiya brush. I mostly model 1:48 Aircraft for my own enjoyment and stress release http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/74520basic_comp/basic_comp.htm Any advice gratefully considered. little-cars
Personally I wouldn't bother, looks very expensive & limiting. I would have a look around for a mid priced sparmax compressor and either a Harder & Steenbeck or Sparmax airbrush (probably the GP-35) to go with it. Corsairfoxfouruncle
I actually used one of the Original Tamiya airbrush/compressor combos in the late 80’s and early 90’s. It worked better than my D/A Paasche airbrush and compressor. I eventually wound up selling my Paasche to someone else. It Ran on RC car batteries and was quiet and consistent. It was ultimately replaced by a Badger and currently Iwata. Edited September 27, 2017 by Corsairfoxfouruncle
ModellerUK
I had one of the Revell airbrush starter kits about 3 years ago, although not Tamiya it was still made by a model company it broke after 3 uses so I would recommend a company that specificallly deals with compressors
