Stephen
My choice for this GB is going to be a Tamiya 1/48 F-16C Block 25 built as a Nellis AFB based aggressor in the relatively new "splinter" scheme. http://www.globalaviationresource.com/v2/wp-content/uploads/ngg_featured/85-1418-Nellis-3rd-August-2016-no-2_edited-1-1024x640.jpg Here is the kit, with the masking set and Crossdelta strengthening plates I don't have decals for it but TwoBobs are releasing a sheet imminently with this scheme on it.

trickyrich
welcome aboard Stephen, and what a great colour scheme, love it! I've seen those strengthening plate mod kits for sale but never actually used so it will be interesting to see how they go. Good luck with the build and the colour scheme, it'll look awesome when completed!
Lex77
Nice choice! Was just looking for the masks to do this scheme myself. Maybe for next GB. Where did you get the masks? Can't seem to find them online.

modelling minion
Awesome camouflage scheme Stephen, certainly a bit different. I'm also interested to see how the masks work out. Craig.
SimonT
Interestingly, his FS colour callouts are completely different for the arctic scheme to other published sources, I'm back to being confused again! Anyone have a definitive on what the USAF and USN consider the FS to be? Edited January 5, 2017 by SimonT

Stephen
Some progress so far with some sub assemblies done. The reason for the white tail base is that I had drilled the holes for vents before I remembered that the Block 25 doesn't have them! The replacement part came from a Block 32/52 kit with a short shot vertical stabiliser (which is destined to become an AM thanks to KASL) .

Stephen
I haven't updated for a while but progress has been made. Canopy on last night and Crossdelta strengthening plates added. The vertical stabiliser isn't glued on yet.

Stephen
Final paint finish after a LOT of masking which I couldn't have done without the AMP masking set and some touch ups. The picture is not that great as it was done in a rush. It's been gloss coated and will be decalled as soon as I return from my trip.

Lex77
Stephen, don't know if you already did it but on the wings and stabilisers the forward part is grey. It is not on the instructions but the real life pictures show a grey line.

Some more progress with decals on
