JeffreyK
Hi, as I'm sure there are many Wessex friends around here, I just wanted to share with you this great HAR.2 build by my friend Akira Watanabe: http://nabe3saviation.web.fc2.com/modelWes.html As I'm no Wessex expert myself I can't comment on the detail however the execution and the work put in and the final finish look stunning. Cheers Jeffrey (just to be clear, this isn't my model, it's Akira-san's, just posting it here)

Nomis61
Thanks for sharing your friend's work. A stunning amount of time and effort must have gone into its creation to achieve such detail! Squibby
Just wow, What an absolutely incredible build, stunningly detailed and that gloss yellow finish is immaculate! That model looks like a real labour of love. @longshanks I believe the Tami-guri tool he is referring to is a beading tool or punch judging by the photos. JeffreyK
Thank you for the comments, I'll pass them on to Akira-san. I knew you'd like it. I'm not sure why he calls the tool "tama guri", the translation doesn't seem to make sense. I'll ask him. But there are a few such tools available under the "rivet maker" category: http://www.modeldesignconstruction.co.uk/mall/productpage.cfm/ModelDesignConstruction/_E32005/54274/Rivet maker 1%2F32 http://umm-usa.com/onlinestore/product_info.php?products_id=1322&osCsid=c4fd3f938247fdadcb21a25e8b358deb I think the key is the hemispheric sort of cavity in the tip that lets you form the dome shaped rivet.
