Vadim
Hey! You made me want to build this one! Amazing work, well done! by the way - what is the mixture you used for canopy airbrush?
drake122
Eduard PE set colors for cockpit are always wrong in my opinion. I would definitely trust AKAN/Mr.Paint over them when it comes to russian colors. Though it is easier to correct the color on the plastic parts rather than PE. Sid de Koning
It's a secret mixture.. one ml of future, one ml of mr. color leveling thinner and one drop of Windsor & Newton drawing ink, airbrushed on at low pressure.

Sid de Koning
and with some primer.. another hinge.. with a little vane over the gun housing, made from stretched sprue.. Master Model for me is pretty much always a must.. below AMK.. AMK has missed these small items on the wings, looks to be connected with the outboard pylons, which will be fitted after all, sincee I can't find any pictures without them.. front look a tiny big bigger than aft on the pictures, so.. and after some primer.. A BSM hasn't got any fuel receptacle panellines, so out came the filler and made a hinge there as well, mirrored from the right side.. glued with Canopy Glue.. scratch HUD..

Sid de Koning
Some progression from the last couple of weeks.. Mr Paint color 186 with a postshade made of the same color with Mr. Color white.. Mr. Paint 47 with a very thin stripe of black on the leading edges.. Only the Red stars are from AMK. I do think the color looks a bit strange. The rest of the decals are HGW wet transfers. Loving them! Eduard always has some small but important details.. That was a lot of fun.. uhh.. work. Wash applied on a clear layer of Alclad 400 Gloss.. Adding another small detail.. I will try to get Alclad metals over a glossy white finish. Should save a lot of time masking the missiles.. Sid de Koning
Brassin painted.. Some strange residue or something on the inside of the windshield.. The one on the left got away from the sander.. yes, i use protection.. reasonably balanced.. I got the windscreen off, clean and back again.. all wheels touch the surface.. Alclad on top of glossy white works as well.. i found out there are a couple of vents missing between the fins.. look for pictures on the internet since I did not make them.. Furball.. doesn't fit at all! Only this one kind of does.. Edited May 18, 2017 by Sid de Koning
Remy
On the home stretch Sid!, looking sharp! Strange that the Furball decals are that much off size wise..
