Victory-is-in-the-Kitchen
Hello BM's. Now for me, something completely different. My wonderful modelling supporting Wife bought me a Millennium Falcon in 1/241 scale for Christmas and I've had great fun completing this over the last few days. I'm normally a 1/72 WW2/Cold War aircraft modeller so some different techniques and approaches were used to create the effect I wanted: Tamiya Acrylics used, XF-20 and lots of XF:2 to get the colour Painted the different panels using the starter set acrylics that came with it I only used the kit decals on the gun turret view port For a quick, fun build, I can't recommend this enough. Enjoy! Edited March 17, 2018 by Victory-is-in-the-Kitchen Restored photo links

Thanks Look forward to seeing yours built! 29 minutes ago, Tony Oliver said: Cool! the revell one yeah? did you trim the clear film away from the edges on the glazing decal? got a one of these along with the tie fighter and x wing from hobbycraft when new film came out last year (not rogue one) Yep, that's it. Revell obviously jumped in with the release of episode seven even though this is empire era. I also got the X-Wing in 1/112 by Revell as a starter kit... can't wait to start that now but have to, by my own rules, finish a Spit and Emil on the bench (or loser station) as my wife calls it! I didn't on the gun turret just used copious amounts of Microsol to get it to settle! I ended up painting the cockpit glazing after attempting (and failing) to use the kit supplied decals. Is your's built? Post some pics

Habu12
Bandai has ruined me for SW kits. I find it amazing this is a Revell kit. But you made it look even better!
roymattblack
Wow - that's TINY. I'm not a massive SW fan, but I like these kind of 'tiny' kits. A lovely piece of work. Kudos mate. What actually is the kit? Are there others? Roy.
