Ozzyman69
So, another airplane today. It is a fourth publication of my work on a forum. Р- 47D " Razorback" 61st FS/56th/8th AF Flown by Lt.Frank W.Clibbe. HISTORY: Of all the major American Air Force fighters of WWII, only the Republic “Thunderbolt” was powered by an air-cooled radial engine. With external drop tanks a range sufficient to reach Berlin from England was achieved and “Thunderbolts” began escorting American heavy bombers right to the target and back. My Р- 47D " Razorback" was completed in building 31.12.2016 Best regards. Andrii Edited January 2, 2017 by Ozzyman69

WildeSau75
very nice build mate - could easily pass as 1/48. The color is a bit on the brown side for an OD scheme. But maybe that's just me. Otherwise, a really great model. Cheers, Michael

Looking forward! And by the way - your two Thunderbolt models of two generations look great beside each other. Both mean looking ground pounders of their time. kapam
Wow, that's an awesome build! I think you got the OD finish spot-on - it has a tendency to vary a lot in hue due to weathering, wear, paint specs (and whether they're followed rigidly),etc. so no complaints at all from me.
