Macki
Happy New Year and thanks for adding me. I just want to introduce myself as a new member. One of my main topics is western allies of the ETO in the slightly unusual 1/87 scale. Market Garden Dragon Wagon And pics from my recent project, Eighth Air Force Cheers Macki Edited January 1, 2017 by Macki

Alpha Delta 210
Welcome to BM, Macki. I love the dioramas above and really look forward to seeing more of your work.
Badder
Hi Macki and welcome to BM. When I read '1/87th I thought, oh what a shame... but then I saw the pics. Superb dioramas made to look even better with great photography. I personally don't know why people make such small scaled models, unless it really is a matter of space/storage/display, but I'm sure you can be tempted to the world of 1/35th! Thanks for sharing your work, Rearguards and happy new year, Badder

Macki
Thanks for the warm welcome and the kind comments! Hardcastle
Hi Mackie Great models - I would love to see an overview of the entire display - it looks like a huge diorama. For those who can't see straight to work in the smaller scales, well - get some loupes. Tim H South Africa (1-72/1-76 Braille scaler)
DWC1968
Such detail in small scale, have enjoyed looking at your work. Hope to see more soon. Cheers Dave.
Macki
Thanks Hardcastle and DWC1968, the diorama is made out of two modules, approx 24 by 24 inch (60 x 60 cm). Without glasses and loupes i can't see a thing if i redecorate it (changing road signs etc), it can be used for scenes of Nato exercises in the 60s and 70s in northern germany Cheers Ralf

Hardcastle
Really goo stuff Used my loupes last night while "stinging" the stanchions on a ship kit - quite tiring actually! Tim H
bar side
Very nice with the Market Garden setup. Both my granddads were there coming up the road. One was infantry and one artillery. One survived to tell the tale & the other is buried in Oosterbeek.
HansReggelsen
What can I say that haven't already been said! Great models and a great way of presenting them. You have a good eye for detail and how to present them in some very atmospheric photos! Very good! Cheers Hans J
