Ozzyman69
Hi All. Hallo from Ukraine. One of exhibits and one of works in 1: 144, that I did in 2016 - it BOEING VC-32A. VC - 32A is a military passenger transportation version of the Boeing 757 for the USAF. One of preferred my producers - Minicraft. Interesting airplane and most optimal to my mind scale. Total utilized man/hrs = 178 (during 1,5 months). Paint: Humbrol, Pactra (acrylic). Thank You. Happy New Year!!!

Mr Modeller
Well done Ozzyman, nicely built and displayed and I really like that scheme. As Steve has said, one which is not seen very often. Kev

Darren Rhodes
Very nice Ozzyman! I have this kit, but plan to build with a civilian scheme. And pleased to see it looks like a Boeing 757, despite lots of criticism of this kit - did you make any modifications? Darren

It's going to be interesting with the masking etc as it's tiny. IMAG2704 by Mark Inman, on Flickr Edited January 1, 2017 by snapper_city

Strong style, easy (simply) detailed. If You need to assembly in B-757 (original civil aviation airliner version), please check external scheme component location as: - APU inlet door; - Antennas location; - Landing gear; - Front window wipers; - Engine exhaust; - External nav&position lights; - Lower&upper beacons… For accurate building, all of items must be done. Painting similarly is very important. I like a civil aviation modification of B-757 and acceptable possibilities of MINICRAFT 1:144 kit. theplasticsurgeon
Very good VC-32 thanks for sharing with us. I've never actually seen one completed thus, but did have that kit. I completed mine as this Thomas Cook airliner Wrong engines, I know - but never spotted by cabin crew that I showed the photos to. I built the Rolls-Royce engined version as Iron Maiden ARC Group Build link Edited January 2, 2017 by theplasticsurgeon

Ozzyman69
To use silver foil ("speed tape") it is necessary very good experience. Painting is far easier

Material is very soft and subject to external influences: dents, scratches...
