72modeler
Happy soon-to-be New Year everybody! Just read the latest Airfix Workbench blog and saw the photos and text on their 1/72 PRXIX, A02017A...is it too much to hope for that this is a revised tooling, correcting the wing chord and fuselage length issues discussed by many of you, or is this just a rebox with different decals? Fact or fiction- what say you guys? Mike
Nigel Bunker
My money is on a re-box with new decals - I can't see Airfix re-tooling it.

That's what I was thinking, as well, and there wasn't a mention in the text about any revisions...a shame! Oh, well, maybe when they get around to doing a Mk XIV they will get everything right, and if they engineered that one correctly, a late XIV or XVIII with the larger rudder, fin block, and 'z' trim tab would be a cinch. The XVIII is sure a handsome beast! (I know, I know, I'm a dreamer!) Thanks for the rapid response, Nige! Mike
