Head in the clouds.

two titles, same book!

4 posts in this topic

I have just purchased 2 books by the same author, British Research and Development Aircraft and British Prototypes by Ray Sturtivant, now here is the thing, I thought I was buying two different books seeing as they both have different titles and ISBN numbers. I was wrong , I have bought two identical books with different titles.

Am I loosing the plot because I just do not get it?

I have never come across this before so any explanation would help restore my sanity.

Thank you.

That often happens when the book is published by different publishers and/or in different markets. I'll bet that the publication dates and locations are different on your two copies.

I suspect that the first book is the 1990 original edition, whilst the second is the 1995 'Promotional Reprint Company' edition.  Buyer beware!
