We will release two boxes of the Delta (a Us Transport and Passenger plane of the thirties and forties). These are the first three planes in service, with a single pilot and bipale propeller, in service with TWA, Aerovias (Mexico) and Aerotransport (Sweden). The later aircraft was used by the LAPE in Spanish Republic and was reused by the nationalist airlines after the fall of the Republic. Please have a look at the two dedicated pages.  Scheduled release date :  end of january 2017.

Hmmm. I recall there was a RCAF version of this...  on floats and one version with a triangular looking fin too.  Now that would be nice!

Some history of the type in RCAF use  with pics and colour side views in the very nice book by Terry Higgins and Carl Vincent  from Aviaeology

Chris, nice set of photos in your link. The difference is mostly in windows. More different is Canadian Delta II with new tail:

Still some hope for scratch work :)

Indeed - they made early Delta with place for one pilot only... However, if you look to other FRROMs they made different variants sooner or later. Perhaps the Canadian Vickers is planned next.

Cheers

About wider canopy variant is here:

If I can get it correctly from Czech (which is a bit different from Polish ;) ) Azur/Fromm will produce Delta in single pilot variant whereas SH will do those with two pilots, wider cockpit. in SH they are considering decals for RAAF, US from Etiopia (rather Erithrea I think, from end of 1940), and US from Coast Guard (so no RCAF yet under consideration). They will apear in April/May, likely

Cheers

And for FR0033 Delta Over Spain:
- Cam A : Northrop Delta 1C, c/n 7, EC-AGC, L.A.P.E. airline. Spanish Republic, 1937–38. The aircraft was ex SE-ADI (Sweden), named Halland. In Spain, it was used in transport role and for VIP transport, piloted by Pedro Tonda and José Maria Carreras. For example on 9–10 September, 1938, Republican Prime Minister Juan Negrín flew to Zurich and back on board of this plane.
- Cam B : Northrop Delta 1C, c/n 7, EC-AGC, L.A.P.E. airline. Spain, 1938/39. Shortly after Zurich, the fuselage registration letters were all painted in black colour and stayed so until the end of the war. The aircraft escaped to the French base of Oran-La Senia in Algeria and was handled to Franco air force..
- Cam C : Delta 1C, c/n 7, 43-18, (ex EC-AGC / SE-ADI), Ejercito del Aire (Spanish Air Force), 1939–45.

I am quite sure I can get it correctly from Czech;), so to amend the info by JWM.

"Special Hobby na podzim tohoto roku vydá i kanadské verze Delty, které jsou proti americkým dosti odlišné" = SH will issue the RCAF versions(?) of Delta (that are quite different compared to the US ones) in autumn of this year - meaning hopefully 2017.

Thanks for the larger sprue shots. So a Delta 1A is what we get. Perhaps a 1B can be built as well. I haven't seen a pic of the right hand side of that plane but as the 1A and 1C look the same there I guess the same goes for the 1B.

This means that to build the 1C from ABA and the Spanish versions a window need to be filled and the door moved.
