Andrew Jones
I'd really like to see a WWII era Pioneer tank transporter in 1/35 IM plastic first.
stevehnz
If someone would build a decently priced 1/35 Mighty Antar tank transporter in plastic I'd buy one in a heartbeat even though 1/35 armour isn't my thing, I'd buy a Centurion to go on it too. Something to satisfy a Dinky itch that never got scratched. Steve.
missile-monkey
I would love a 1/76 or 1/72 scale kit of the Scammell Commander. I know BW models did one, however I only learned of the company after it was too late ! story of my life.......... MM
Kingsman
Good News, Andrew! IBG have just announced a Scammell Pioneer recovery for 2017 in 1/35 in plastic. So there may be hope for the tank transporter yet. Accurate Armour of course already do the Commander, several Antars and several Pioneers and Explorers in resin. In exchange for a second mortgage!

Kingsman
And now Thunder Models have announced a Pioneer Recovery SV/2S as well. 450+ parts from multi-slide moulds, apparently. They're certainly not frightened of the unusual! Decades without a sniff of one and now two at the same time. Surely one of them has to do the tank transporter and artillery tractor? Kingsman
And as if by psychic magic, Thunder have updated their facebook page to say that they are indeed intending to release both the tank transporter and artillery tractor variants - apparently all in fairly short order - and Explorer variants too. One imagines that IBG might be a little peeved at this point ............... There are enough untouched-in-plastic British softskins, wartime and post-war, to keep both of them going for years though. Thunder say this: To update our previous announcement, we have decided to share our complete list for Scammell kits to be released during this spring and summer. First three kits share many common parts and sprues and will be released all in a short period of time: 1/35 Scammell Pioneer SV/2S recovery tractor - tooling 1/35 Scammell Pioneer TRMU30/TRCU30 Tank Transporter 30 ton - tooling 1/35 Scammell Pioneer R100 heavy artillery tractor - tooling Two post war subjects will follow then: 1/35 Scammell Explorer recovery tractor - ready for tooling 1/35 Scammell Explorer artillery tractor - ready for tooling All models are based on factory drawings and detail measurements. More details, box arts, CAD renders to follow soon. Thank you all for your support, kind messages, comments, emails and feedback.
