New Products for end of 2016

We have a few new and interesting products released this month.

First we are very pleased to announce the release of a new decal sheet in 1/48 and 1/72 scale. "Auster Killers" covers the infamous Auster incident that occurred above Sydney in August 1955. We believe this is the first time that this incident has been given any attention by any decal producer. We reckon that modellers will be very pleased to build a replica of the two RAN Sea Furies (piloted by RN exchange pilots) involved in this drama. The decal sheet comes with a full colour instruction sheet that provides the history of the incident, detailed colour profiles, resin appliqués for the camera ports in 1/48 scale and PE brass appliqués for 1/72 scale.

 

Those of you have been around as long as we have will fondly the original NKR Scriber. For more than three years no we have been searching the world looking for a quality replacement and we think we have found one. The MRP Mr.Scriber is a lightweight, all metal tool that cuts a clean, square line in plastic. The specially designed cutting head throws the swarf out and away from the scribed line. We tested one before we decided to import them and found that it performed best when used to lightly score a panel line - pressing heavily tended to cause the cutting head to snag and produced an erratic result.

 

We have produced another run of the popular RAAF 'C' Class Empire Flying Boat Conversion in 1/72 scale. Take a look on our web site for more details of this and all the other products. Also, remember that the magnificent CMR 'C' Class Empire Flying Boat 1/72 scale kit is still available on order. These magnificent resin kits are expensive but are worth every cent and produce a fantastic model of a very significant aircraft.

 

Lastly, we have just received further limited stock of our 1/72 scale Douglas DC-4G/DC-6C Firebomber Conversion.
