stevej60
Morning folk's a pre Christmas quickie in the form of the old Airfix Banshee,if your mojo has deserted you grab something from way back and have some fun! This has been a real nostalgia trip I built one when new around 1980,the decal's were still useable apart from one of the Three "R" codes so I had to replace with a "T" from a spare Korean war period Corsair,Many thanks for looking at her.
Jure Miljevic
Congratulations, Steve. Good demonstration of how a quick OOB build can still turn an aged kit into very convincing model without too much fuss. Cheers Jure

Simon Cornes
I suppose the great thing is that you now know much more about the Banshee so you can do an even better job second time around - great looking jet!

Meatbox8
Very nice indeed. I'm surprised Airfix haven't re-released this kit. It looks like it holds its own still.

mcdonnell
Hello,Steve - My apologies for my late 'Radar Lock' on this build.Your hallmark expertise has resulted in another fine looking subject, the 'Banshee'.Again, the quality and detail of the painting and finishing work is superb. I look forward to your 'Phantom' build very much indeed and hope to add an Academy Phantom to my stash at some point. "Dear Santa. . ." "Phestive Greetings" to you. 👍 All the very best,Paul.
PlaStix
Very cool looking Banshee, especially considering it's a quick build. Very well done. Kind regards, Stix
