Fishbed
Hi all, I'm sure I had an in-progress report for this build, it was supposed to be a double build with the T4, but I can not find it (probably so old its dropped off the site!), so you will all have to make do with the finished article. I have modified the nose on this by adding the quick-boost nose ring and moving the nose undercarriage bay forward by a few mm to match the size of the sword F1/2/3 and airfix F6 kits. A mix of kit/Model decal/Xtradecal for the markings. Not much else I can say so on to the picks! Tim

The paints were good old humbrol (104/163? not near paints so doing from memory) and alclad aluminium underneath. Alclad matt varnish to finish as its not dead matt. chrish
lovely build. i've done one all aluminum and want to do another in camo like yours. Did you use the same color primer for the aluminum and camo? I know one is supposed to use a black primer for metallics. Cheers.

You only need the black (glossy) for a really shiny finish (as I did for the nose ring). some panels in grey and some in black will give a start to the tonal variations.
