colin
Lovely work, got a Hasegawa Nagato to do and will be copying your painting ideas for that, really gives a depth to the finish
Michael M
Well thanks, you'll have plenty of fun, this little scraper is no Nagato I'll gladly watch your version.
73north
Thanks for all the pictures so far , I bought the Z.26 by Dragon - and the really expensive Flyhawk etch set - which has only the brass 5.9 inch guns supplied ! so I had to buy the Master Model Z.25 AA gun Set - are you planning on fitting brass propellor screws to your model ? anyway nice work so far , the investment in brass guns is so worth it , its night and day to the kit plastic
Rob 1
I'm liking all those finely detailed light AA guns, particularly the quad 20mm Flakvierlings. They'll look very impressive when completed and mounted aboard the destroyer.
Michael M
Thanks gents. No I don't have brass props, I only had few bits from that Flyhawk set. All the AA guns bar flakvierlings are just kit stuff. Them little quad buggers are Veteran Models ones and I recommend them wholeheartedly, but only to people with good eyesight or strong magnifying glass They come as a set of four, I've managed not to waste anything, so i have two more for future models or barter EDIT: Off course me being dunderhead, barrels for the AA are Master Model Cheers Mick Edited May 15, 2017 by Michael M
