datguy
Oh no! I feel the first of many lost evenings coming on. Thanks, Jessica! What is it about ramp photos? What are they so addictive? David
Koala
Many hours could be lost going through these images, however there countless subjects crying out to be modelled and I noticed the second photo on the Los Angeles page ,there is a refuelling tanker very similar to the new Airfix USAAF resupply kit, also on the photo there is a baggage conveyor based on a jeep. The potential of the new kit has been widened, just like their RAF models. Admiral Puff
What a wonderful way to loose several hours! When airliners were proper, prop-driven things of beauty and passengers were airsick ...
72modeler
Thanks for sharing the links, Jessie! Those were the days! People actually dressed up to go flying, unlike today. Wish I had thought to take photos of the good old Trans Texas (aka Trans Treetop to us Texans!) DC-3's I used to see all the time when I lived in Abilene, TX before they became Braniff Airlines airplanes. Mike Those American Airlines polished metal/orange airliners were things of beauty, IMHO.
