Flankerman
Finally finished - my conversion of the new injection-moulded Amodel Be-10 'Mallow' into the proposed missile-carrying Be-10N (it never actually flew) The radar nose is from a 1/350 scale nuclear submarine - and the K-10BS anti-ship missiles are scratched from plastic knitting needles and plastic card. Nose job - converted Amodel nose (left) - and Deka vacform original glazed nose (right) More photos of the finished model - plus WIP pics - here. Billydick
Wow ... that is something special Flankerman. A stunningly built model of at least for me, a not so well known Soviet aircraft. BillyD

Radleigh
Love this aircraft so much, and I've no idea why. Amodel need a Blue Peter badge for releasing this. Great job on the model Ken, as said, I'm looking forward to seeing it.
moaning dolphin
Beautiful rendition, she sits proud and graceful. Cant help wondering if salt water ingestion was a problem for the engines or not? Bob

It was during early testing - they even fitted a testbed with extended intakes - but in the end a spray supression strake around the bows sorted most (but not all) the problems. This view shows the extended intakes :- Compare with this 'normal' length.... Ken
Learstang
Brilliant job, Ken! Now you need to do one with an AS-2 Kangaroo missile mounted in the middle of the keel! Regards, Jason
