There's a Hurricane, Typhoon, Tempest, and Sea Fury lurking in my stash. Plus a few Hawks and Harriers,  I'm sure I'll be joining you.

An excellent selection of options there :D

I wonder how many of those we'll see in this GB...

Lots I hope! :yahoo:

Can I add you to the list Enzo?

The Airfix kit should be available by then.

I'm just thinking...   is anyone up for a Hawker Tornado?

Ooh yes. Something a little more exotic

I wonder if there are any kits or conversions available for either configuration of the Hawker Tornado?

That does look rather cool...

Col, it doesn't look that hard to knock together....

Having reviewed the detail on that page I take my last comment back... :)

Turns out there's a complete resin kit from LF Models that retails for about 40 Euros and an old Maintrack resin conversion. There's also a chap on The Airfix Tribute Forum who made a start at creating his own using a Hurricane and Tempest kit...

Cool, got a Hurricane, Typhoon, Tempest, Hunter in the stash.

How far down the line are we going with Harriers, is it just the GR1 or GR3 as well?

Nice selection Doug. For Harriers I'm going with any of the metal wing machines; so GR.1 & 3 yes, as well as T.2/4/4N/8, FRS.1 & F/A.2, AV8-A/C/S & TAV8-A/S are all good.

I don't think you'd want it in your living room, would definitely scare the cat out of the catflap.

So long as it didn't scare the crap out of the cat before it scared the cat out of the catflap ;) Otherwise I'd be delighted to have the VAAC Harrier, or indeed any other Harrier, in my front room. In fact if I had a big enough house it would make a lovely bit of interior decoration; where some people have one of those faked up 'old' coffee tables or scatter cushions let's have an example of my favourite aircraft as a talking point. Why not?

Though it does seem that one needs to simply have a tempest and go from there according to one poster. Might be easier than he's made it :hmmm:

Oh, and I'm in!

Dare say there's always many paths to the same point but some of us take the hard route

Added your name to our list. Welcome aboard :)
