pinky coffeeboat
Hello all, This is one of my entries for the recent Airliner III Group Build. It was completed by the deadline but a few things prevented me from posting it in the gallery section of that group build. So here it is presented to you in it's (99.99999%) completed state and how it got here is detailed here I thoroughly enjoyed building this and the others for the group build. Once again, huge thanks go Ben Sweezey of V1decals.com for providing me with an updated decal sheet. Many thanks for looking and feel free to query, comment, critique as you see fit!! kapam
Great work. These airliners are real inspiring - tempted to start a new stash of them.
pinky coffeeboat
Thanks for your kind comments. Give airliner models a go, they usually combine the most difficult paints to apply - gloss white and natural metal! I enjoy the variety of colours and just have a real love of civilian aircraft. Another Spitfire sends me to sleep, but that's how most people feel about airliner modelling - another white tube with wings zzzzzzz

Turbofan
Really nice subtle weathering Jeff. It's amazing how much more life a few figures bring to it in one of the pics, isn't it? Another unusual livery. Cheers, Ian
pinky coffeeboat
Thanks Ian. Adding figures was an idea I stole from someone who produces top quality airliner models, someone you may know well !!! They do give an idea of the size of airliners and give a nice bit of life to the scene. The base is from Coastal Kits(.co.uk) that I bought at Telford. Well worth it.
